The Claude Desktop one-click bundle (.mcpb) is not connecting on the last two Claude Desktop versions. Manual configuration works correctly. Please use manual setup while we look into it.

Novamira Visual

Novamira Visual is an experimental way to connect your AI agent to WordPress. Instead of working out of sight, the agent opens your pages and editors in a browser workspace, so you watch it open a page, edit it, and build it, in real time.

It is part of Novamira, not a separate plugin. The same site can run the standard Novamira connection and the Novamira Visual workspace at the same time. Recommended for staging environments with backups.

What you need

  • Novamira 1.8.0 or later.
  • An administrator account. You open the workspace from wp-admin, and only administrators can connect it.
  • Novamira Pro 1.6.0 or later for live Elementor and Bricks.
  • A staging site with backups. Novamira Visual is experimental.

Open and connect it

  1. In wp-admin, open Novamira Visual from the menu.
  2. Ask your AI client (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, or any MCP client) to connect to Novamira Visual. It gives you a connection code like visual:00000.
  3. Paste the connection code into the Novamira Visual workspace, or open the direct link it provides.
  4. When the workspace shows Connected, the agent can open pages and edit them while you watch.

Novamira Visual uses its own configuration, not the WordPress Application Password that the standard Novamira connection uses. Both connections can run on the same site at the same time.

The connection code is not a secret. Unlike an Application Password, there is nothing to protect about it. Everything runs through your browser, inside your authenticated wp-admin session, so what authorizes the work is your administrator login and your browser, not the code. Pasting or sharing the code on its own grants no access.

What you can watch live

In the workspace you watch the agent work in:

  • Gutenberg, the block editor, on Novamira.
  • Elementor and Bricks, on Novamira Pro.

Live Elementor and Bricks in the workspace are a separate, more experimental integration from the deep specializations Novamira Pro uses on the standard connection, so the output can differ. The specializations for the other builders stay on the standard connection and are not available live in the workspace.

Still experimental

Novamira Visual is an experiment. We opened it up to shape it with your feedback, so it will grow depending on what you tell us. Keep it on staging, keep backups, and let us know how it goes in the Novamira community.
